Designs for a Difference

Started in May 2020, this project was started to raise funds for local charities that support the BIPOC communities.

Following the death of George Floyd and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, our team of artists and designers came together to create a series of sellable designs as a means of providing monetary support. Currently, the project has cumulatively raised over $4400 and donated to CEE Toronto, Black Women in Motion, Peel's March for Justice, Indian Residential School Survivor Society, Impact Lebanon and FoodShare Toronto. The project was done in collaboration with Canadian university students, Jessie Ye and Sharon Luo, using Instagram and Facebook.

The project has been featured on the McGill Tribune Changemakers Podcast.
